The app is a mobile service (iOS & Android, React Native) where users create an account, browse nearby football matches, and purchase one or more spots per match. Payments are pre-authorized at purchase and captured when a match is confirmed by the organizer.

2. Information we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, and password.
  • Payment data: we do not store raw card details; we retain only your Stripe Customer ID.
  • Location data: approximate location via Google Maps API to find nearby matches (not stored persistently).
  • Transaction data: matches joined, spots purchased, and payment status.
  • Device data: operating system version and app version for debugging and support.

3. How we use your information

  • To create and manage your account.
  • To show nearby matches and improve app functionality.
  • To process payments and match participation records.
  • To provide customer support and resolve technical issues.

4. Third-party services

  • Stripe Inc. for payment processing (PCI-DSS compliant).
  • Google LLC for Google Maps API location search.
  • Google Cloud Storage for user-uploaded images such as profile photos.

5. Security

We use HTTPS for all communications. Authentication uses JWT, and tokens are stored securely on your device. We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal information.

6. Data retention and deletion

If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal or accounting obligations. Financial records may be retained for up to 7 years where required by law.
